If you have a bank feed set up in Xero for your bank account, you may need to deactivate it for some reason. This is easy to do. In this tutorial, we will deactivate a feed for a bank account in Xero.

To get to the right area of Xero, go to Accounting → Bank accounts from the main menu:
How to Deactivate a Bank Feed
To deactivate the automatic feed for a live bank account in Xero, find the account in question and click on Manage Account → Deactivate Feed in the drop-down menu on the right-hand side:
A pop-up box will appear warning you that transactions will no longer automatically import into your bank account in Xero if you deactivate the feed. The pop-up box also lets you know that you can re-activate the feed at any time. When you are sure you want to proceed, click on Deactivate:
You will now be taken back to the main Bank Accounts screen. Here you should see a message and a green button telling you that automatic bank feeds are available for this account. If you see this message, you have successfully deactivated your feed:
