Xero Invoices – How to Copy a Branding Theme

If you want to create a new sales invoice branding theme that is similar to an existing theme, you can start by making a copy of the existing theme. In this short tutorial, we will make a copy of an existing invoice branding theme in Xero’s demo company.

Invoice Branding Themes in Xero

To get to the right place in Xero, go to Settings in the main menu and click on Invoice Settings in the Features section:


How to Copy a Sales Invoice Branding Theme in Xero

Here you should see two branding themes already set up in the demo company. To make a copy of the Standard theme, click on the Options button on the right-hand side and choose Copy from the drop-down list:


A pop-up box will appear asking you to name the copy of the theme. For this exercise let’s give it the name Copy of Standard:


Click on Save when you are ready. In the main Invoice Settings screen you should now see a copy of the Standard invoice theme, with the only difference being its name:
